This past summer, we had a man come to one of our outreaches and he called it a “reach out.” And that is exactly what we do! The teams that come in get trained for three full days then the next few days are filled with reaching out to different places in the city you are in. This is a great time to reach out and give back to those communities, even though we are in America, there is still a great need for people to be loved, and to hear about Jesus. These outreaches are very successful, not that it’s about numbers, but it’s about planting seeds in people’s lives and that is exactly what happens! You will experience great moments where you will be able to get to see your students really be stretched as they publicly give their testimonies, do human videos, garbonics, puppets, play with children, and talk with adults about Jesus’ love for them. This gives them the courage to think, “if I can do this here, I can go home and do this in my schools and communities!” That’s what I love most, seeing students go home and light their schools on fire for Jesus, because they got out of their comfort zones and really do hands on ministry with people!
