About Lifestone Church

Pastor Jack Thomas

Lifestone Church is not a building, it's a people!  We believe that when Jesus said, "I have come that they might have life and have it abundantly", he meant it! Real life is what real people are seeking, life at home, life at work, life in friendships, life in every aspect of their world.  Jesus came so that we might have life, we have come to create a Life-Giving culture in and around the city of Pittsburgh!

About Element Church

Pastor Rich Jones

Element Church began as a group of people wanting to do something to bring positive change in the community of Millvale.  In doing so, they started a group called, "Millvale Matters," to serve the community through meeting the needs of others.  As the efforts of Millvale Matters began to take on momentum, it became clear to us that this group could possibly become more effective in Millvale if we started a church.

Pittsburgh, where the three rivers unite and home of the Steelers and Penguins! It truly is a great city to be in, not too fast, not too slow, it always seems to be just right. During this expedition we will be working with two different sites, Pastor Rich Jones and Pastor Jack Thomas.

The Holy Hands Expedition starts with three intense days of training your students  in many different areas for outreaches including, human videos, evangelism training, apologetics, testimonies, children’s ministry, team work, one on one street evangelism, and Garbonics (aka. Stomp). These days will be long hard training days and at night we will be having services where we as Holy Hands staff will be sharing their heart for the ministry of evangelism and getting the students spiritually geared up for the outreaches!

The next few days will be filled with putting into practice what was learned in the training sessions. During these days in the mornings teams be doing flyer distribution, cleaning up the community and some other cool things to help the churches out! Then the afternoons will be spent doing outreaches in the two different sites where the students will get to minister to the people of Pittsburgh one on one! This is the chance where your students will get to share their testimonies publicly, which just is amazing to watch them share their stories that will touch so many people’s lives for Jesus!

The best part about this trip though will be taking all that the students have learned home, to where they have their own mission field. Our hope is that their life is changed on this trip, and then they use that experience to change other people’s lives in their own communities!
