Q: How much does the internship Cost? A: $1,500. This includes all your travel expenses including your flight cost to Las Vegas. All your housing expenses, gas, laundry, manuals, toiletries, t-shirt, stamps, emergency phone calls and food! Q: How do I go about raising money for the internship? A: We have a sponsor letter that you can download off our website (under apply now) and use that to send out to family and friends and ask them for support. Another option would be to save, and save and save, take up a couple extra hours of work, stop buying Starbucks coffee and the money will add up. Q: When do I send in my payments for the internship? A: Depending on when you apply and get accepted, HH will give you a few options as to how you want to pay. We have monthly, weekly, and even all of it at once in the beginning if you have the money. Q: Is there an age requirement? A: Yes. You must at least be going into your Senior year of high school all the way up through your mid to late 20’s. Q: Is there a deadline for the applications? A: Yes, March 15. Q: What are the start and end dates for the internship? A: Start: June 11 End: August 22 Q: Are you willing to work with date conflicts for the internship start and end dates? A: Yes we are! In the past we have had a few conflicts with dates due to previous obligations to incoming interns and we will work with you to change those dates. Q: What exactly will I be doing? A: You will be trained, your first week in: Garbonics, Human Video, Puppets, Children's Ministry, Leadership, and much more! Then you will take that training and help the HH staff train the incoming teams in all the different cities. You will also be doing cooking, cleaning, setting up and tearing down at outreaches, sharing your testimony, leading in morning devotions, praying, serving in any way needed. Q: Where will I be going? A: First to New Castle, PA (an hour north of Pittsburgh) Las Vegas Boston Syracuse Pittsburg Philadelphia Staten Island Washington D.C. Q: What will I need to bring? A: When you get accepted we will send you out a letter with all of that information on it. Q: Is health insurance required? A: You must be able to prove that you are fully covered by health insurance before the start of tour. We are not responsible for an interns hospitalization, doctor's fees, or health related costs. |
