Brief History of Holy Hands

Holy Hands was birthed out of a one-week street invasion in inner city Philadelphia. The year was 1995 and over 100 bible college students assembled together to work with the local church to help reach the streets of Philly. During that week, the Lord began to birth a specific vision for Holy Hands Ministries (Eph. 4:11-12).

Our Vision

Our threefold vision is to:

1.Evangelize the streets of the U.S. (Matt. 28:19).

2.Equip the local church through training seminars ­ giving the tools necessary to reach a lost world (Heb. 5:14).

3.Serve the local community through service projects and outreaches (John 12:26).

Holy Hands Expeditions

Here is a detailed description of what we do on our expeditions:

Expedition is defined as a journey, adventure, or voyage taken by a group of people with one purpose. That is exactly what our expeditions are! Holy
Hands Expedition is not your normal, typical, everyday missions trip. It's a journey with one main purpose - to evangelize! What makes it different?
Isn't the purpose of every mission's trip to evangelize? (Matt 28:19) Our greatest passion in this ministry is not only being able to train people, but to share our hearts for evangelism, for the lost people in America today.

We differ from other organizations in that we don't have any expectations when it comes to previous experience. Part of our mission is to TRAIN you
and your students! HHEX offers instruction in the areas of human video ministry, Garbonics (street percussion), children's ministry, and evangelism. With each different and unique area we train in you will not just listen and take notes, but it is also very hands on and interactive.
Each area offers a unique and interactive training program.

Human Videos - Holy Hands summer staff will start off teaching you the very basics of the art of human videos. Even if your youth group has gone to
nationals every year with human videos you can still learn more with the basic steps we teach in each session. Then after we get through the basics
we work with expressions, body positions, and movements. Lastly, we will teach you and your group three human videos that you can perform during
outreaches. Our hope is that your students will take what they've learned home and teach other students. Some may even be inspired to start a drama
team or a human video team with the tools and knowledge they've learned with HHEX.

Garbonics - It's also known as music on garbage and commonly linked with Stomp. Garbonics is something that everyone can be a part of and enjoy! Even those students who feel like they don't have rhythm or can¹t play an instrument will be given the opportunity to play and learn. This is so much fun to learn and perform, and most importantly, the people love it!

Children's Ministry - Children are a BIG part of our ministry. If kids are out at the parks, parents, grandparents, and siblings will all be there too, so
kids are key! We have seminars to teach the students how to interact and love on children at the outreaches, then we have hands on training with
puppets! Puppets might seem like a silly or out-of-date way to minister, but children LOVE puppets. It's very important that we spend time teaching the students how to use them properly. Students will learn puppet scripts and songs, as well as balloon sculpting! There¹s nothing like handing a child a
balloon animal. Not only do they feel special, but you most certainly feel blessed.

Evangelism - This is the most important part of our training. You can be an expert in all the other areas, but if you don¹t understand or know how to
approach people to tell them about Jesus, then outreach has no real purpose.  Each session will address different aspects of evangelism including,
apologetics, one on one evangelism, cult training, and more. We also do some hands-on training to prepare students for the best and the worst outcomes when talking to individuals.
